Email is the only way in. There is no form, nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy.
Print this. Copy it. Mail it to someone inside. That’s what it’s for. Just don’t sell it.
How to mail it inside, and what the mailroom rejects1 Where to write
If you are reading this on paper, the address is contact@survivingthefeds.com. If you are inside, ask someone outside to write for you.
2 What to write about
- A mistake on the site. A wrong date, a rule that changed, a page that doesn’t work on your phone or doesn’t print right. Tell us the page’s address, printed at the top of every page.
- The books. Questions about Surviving Pretrial or The 2255 Motion Handbook.
- Reporters and podcast hosts. The same address.
3 What we can’t do
Surviving the Feds is not a law firm and never gives legal advice. We can’t look at a case, read case papers, or tell anyone what to do in their own case. Bilal Khan is a paralegal, not a lawyer. Talk to a lawyer about your own case.
4 Don’t send facts about a case
An email to us is not protected the way a talk with a lawyer is. Don’t send facts about a case, papers from a case, or anything you would not want a prosecutor to read. Rule Number 2 in the book applies here too: “Do not talk to anyone about your case.”
